IMEG. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer 3 in our office. As a Senior Mechanical Designer 3, you will perform the overall, multi-discipline supervision of assigned projects, typically responsible for a large project or a number of small projects with many complex features, directing a staff of engineers and technicians while also obligated to actively bring work into the firm.

Some key duties and responsibilities include:

• Complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes
• Make major decisions and recommendations with little input from senior staff
• Coordinate design, mentor junior team members, and assign duties to design staff
• Evaluate project staffing requirements, analyze problems, and write reports
• Attend project meetings, meet with clients, and prepare proposals and presentations
• Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
  

Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:

• Knowledge of all aspects of design techniques, tools, principles, materials, and methods
• Leadership attributes with the ability to communicate clearly both oral and written
• Skill in the use of Microsoft programs and BIM software
  

Education and experience requirements are:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Technology and a minimum of 18 years of qualifying experience

OR

• A minimum of 23 years of qualifying experience without a bachelor's degree
• This position is not eligible for sponsorship
