The Las Vegas Aviators have the proud distinction of being the longest enduring franchise in the history of professional sports in the state of Nevada. The Aviators are the triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. The Aviators home games are played at the Las Vegas Ballpark in the master planned community, Summerlin, Nevada, Las Vegas.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a part-time, on-call position. The person in this position is responsible for maintaining the players and clubhouse equipment and assist on-field during the baseball game.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintain on deck circle and batter's box clear of stray equipment.

• Provide the umpire with game balls when requested.

• Assists home clubhouse manager and visiting clubhouse manager with clean ups, dugouts and locker rooms.

• Duties include but are not limited to filling water coolers and stocking cups for dugouts and bullpens before each game.

• Carry equipment such as bats, balls, helmets and any other gear necessary to and from the dugout when asked or needed.

• Retrieve foul balls that remain on the field during the game and deliver balls to the umpires.

• Additional duties may be assigned by the clubhouse managers, trainers and/or supervisor.

• Provide the umpire with the game balls when requested.

ABOUT YOU:

• Strong communication skills preferred.

• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.

• Must be able to work at least 50 games including Opening Day.

• Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or carry 50 pounds as necessary.

• Initiative and has a hardworking, positive attitude.

• Ability to stand, sit and walk for up to 4-6 hours.

• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions to include extreme heat, cold and rain.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays.

• Good knowledge of baseball rules.
