Responsibilities

Western Region CBO

The Western Region Consolidated Business Office provides business office services including: billing, collections, cash posting, pre-access management, variance and customer service to our affiliated UHS facilities. We are seeking dynamic and talented individuals to join our team.

Job Description:
This position is responsible for accurately performing the pre-access functions for scheduled patients, which includes scheduling outpatient diagnostic procedures and completing the pre-registration and insurance verification processes.


Qualifications

Education:
High School or equivalent.

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years outpatient scheduling or registration experience.

Other:
Possesses understanding of third-party payer requirements and healthcare billing. Strong verbal and written communications skills required. Ability to prioritize and perform work in an organized, efficient and effective manner without constant supervision and direction. Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language.

Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency to include: word processing, spreadsheet, database, and patient accounting system. Experience in data entry, customer service, collections and medical terminology preferred.
