Job Description

Position Purpose

The Retail Sales Associate is primarily responsible for promoting positive relations with all individuals who approach the store and focus attention on guest needs, while promoting store products and services. This position will close sales, collect money, and swipe/enroll customers in loyalty cards using the retail division's POS system. This position will assist with inventory control and maintain cleanliness of fitting rooms and displays. The Retail Sales Associate will also adhere to sensitivity and confidentiality methods and procedures to ensure the well-being of the customers.

Nature and Scope

Provide exceptional customer service.

Adhere to sensitivity and confidentiality methods and procedures to ensure the well-being of the customers.

Establish rapport with current and potential customers, and their clinical providers, in order to understand their product needs.

Maintain and demonstrate complete knowledge of all store products, services hours of operation and scheduled daily group activities.

Assist in maintaining inventories, pricing policies as well as the cleanliness of fitting rooms and displays.

Assist with visual merchandising, lighting, signage, space plan, and fixture layout.

Drive sales to meet assigned sales goals.

Provide neat, legible payroll records in a timely manner.

Work cohesively with other departments and co-workers and contribute to team efforts.

Any additional duties and/or projects assigned by the leadership of Retail.

This position does not provide patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

Name

Description

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.

Experience:

Minimum one-year retail experience in a department store or specialty store. Previous cashier experience in a specialty gift store preferred.

License(s):

None.

Certification(s):

May be required to obtain and maintain a Post-mastectomy Fitting Certification post hire.

Computer / Typing:

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
