Job Description

Training and developing team

  • Training Technicians on proper use of dos Maximo and issue tablets
  • Assigned PI's to Technicians
  • Monitor reporting through CMMS, including generating and closing work orders
  • Provide daily & weekly updates on completion % of PI's and QC's
  • Notify management and supervisors on team performance.

Equipment distribution

  • Assigned and track radios to technicians (Customer own)
  • Assigned tablets to technicians (for field use to complete PI's)
  • Keys for equipment (PBB, ICS, TBIT)

Parts administration

  • Parts rooms are organized and up to date
  • Part ordering process is accurate.
  • Weekly meetings with team and customer
  • Ordering process

Equipment/Vehicle

  • Ensure parts coordinator has up to date information on equipment.
  • Assist with scheduled maintenance for Fleet vehicles, equipment, and vendors

Assistance to Administrative secretary:

  • Time entry
  • Badging coordinator
  • Parts coordinator

Maintenance

  • Scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance tasks to uphold the functionality, safety, and efficiency of facilities and equipment.
  • Support planning and coordinating maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and servicing of equipment and facilities.
  • Act as a point of contact between maintenance team, departments, vendors, and management to convey maintenance schedules, updates, and issues effectively.
  • Track progress of maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, inventory, and equipment specifications. Generate reports to analyze performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline maintenance processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Supervisory roles:

  • Communicate with various parties on the work performed and present status of specialty systems.
  • Supervision ofemployees assigned to the team.
  • Ensure quality of maintenance executed on-site according to contract agreed with the customer(s)
  • Manage system issues on-site with the maintenance team, manager and the customer.
  • Setup and maintain work schedule to ensure fulfilment of contract deliverables and more.
  • Provide assistance to Manager (if applicable) on daily operations and perform as the manager in his absence.
  • Ensure proper levels of supplies (spare parts, tools and office supplies and personal protective equipment) and manage vendor interactions.
  • Initiate process improvements to ensure continuous improvement of the maintenance performance to the contract.
  • Monitors housekeeping compliance in all areas of operations
  • Identifies issues that need extra attention.
  • Solves problems which disturb the daily operation.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 year experienced in an industrial environment.
  • 1 -2 year experienced in CMMS
  • Working experience with parts ordering process
  • 1 year of prior experience in warehouse accounting, inventory
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years Material Handling Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year CMMS Experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

The work environment/physical requirements described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job: Technicians work in secured baggage handling areas, in repair stations, or on airfields. They often must meet strict deadlines to maintain flight schedules.

Workers occasionally bend, stoop, and reach from ladders and scaffolds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally will be required to reach with hands and arms. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working with and exposed to the baggage handling system, mechanical parts and vibration. The environment can also be loud because of aircraft engines and equipment

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, eligible to receive an hourly rate and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. The hourly rate listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final hourly rate offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate-dependent.

Hourly rate: $38.00-$40.00
