PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Director of Quality Assurance (QA) plays a critical role in leading and managing our QA team, ensuring the highest standards of quality are met across all technology systems and applications. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive QA strategy, overseeing testing activities, and driving continuous improvement within the technology organization.

  • Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business objectives and technology roadmap.
  • Define and implement quality standards, processes, and methodologies for software development and testing.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of all software testing activities, including functional testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure quality is built-in from the beginning.
  • Identify and prioritize defects, working with development teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Implement and manage test automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Analyze test results and metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging QA technologies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including IT leadership, business units, and vendors.
  • Manage QA budget and resources effectively.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing QA teams.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of various testing methodologies (functional, performance, security, etc.).
  • Expertise in test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Passion for quality and continuous improvement.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
